Abstract
The University of New Hampshire Facilities Professional Development Program is an incentive program for employees to enhance their skills and education. The Facilities Leadership team were seeking ways to retain employees and prepare them for future opportunities through succession planning. The project includes development of an electronic course catalog and registration form which allows employee access through the Facilities website. The program tracks all completed training hours and can be used to generate reports for managers to track goal requirements. A make or buy analysis was done and the decision was that it could be created within Facilities utilizing the UNH IT support department. The catalog and registration forms were created and tested for quality and ease of use. All testing passed and the program will be launched April 1, 2017 for the Facilities use. Overall the project was an overall success with the Leadership team and the Facilities Employees.
