Abstract
Implementing new hardware and software for a mission and business critical system is not a light undertaking. My project covers such an undertaking for our organization’s revenue cycle application whose hardware was at end of life and current version outside contract and support terms. The project occurred in two distinct phases. The hardware upgrade occurring first, followed by the software upgrade. It was imperative that there was no interruption to business as usual during this process.
