Abstract
The following project was a study of the potential implementation of a Human Resource Business Partner position being added to the Cheshire Medical Center Human Resource team. The reason for this study was to evaluate the need a Human Resource Business Partner as well a way to shift the workload that the department currently supports. The methods used for this project was a series of deliverables that included an analyzation of the job description, leadership training with handouts, and a PowerPoint presentation to be presented to the Human Resource Team and hospital leadership. The project concluded that the use of a Human Resource Business Partner would be a great addition to the Cheshire Medical Human Resource Team and would better utilize fulltime staff more effectively to provide more support for front line managers.
