Evidence for the presence of GABamide in the webs of orb weaving spiders
Abstract
The principal water-soluble amine on the webs of some orb weaving spiders has been variously identified as GABamide and 2-pyrrolidone. We present evidence supporting the identification of this compound as GABamide.
