UNH Paul College - Study Abroad
Abstract
BACKGROUND:
Over the past 4 years the number of students studying abroad has increased significantly from 113 students during the 2015-16 academic year to 195 during the 2018-19 Academic year, a 73% increase. The students who go abroad need additional support prior to their semester abroad, which is compounded by confusion regarding the process and paperwork. 60% of students coming in for study abroad planning appointments schedule multiple appointments in one semester.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT:
How do we educate Paul College students about study abroad programs, processes, and expectations while also improving efficiency and quality of interactions?
