Abstract

BACKGROUND:
HR currently processes 300 plus LOA's annually. Sixty to seventy percent result in risk of employee overpayment, policy non-compliance, and internal rework due to limited campus-wide process knowledge. Additionally, the internal process is administratively cumbersome and lacks functionality to generate accurate reports.

OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT:
How do we (HR Team) streamline the internal leave of absence workflow to reduce risk, drive internal efficiencies, and provide opportunity for global process communication?
