Description
Everett B. Sackett, University of New Hampshire Registrar, writes to William C. Stevenson of the National Japanese American Student Relocation Council. Sackett replies that there is currently one female Japanese American student at the university with another to start in February. However, Sackett states that since most of the University's male students have joined the armed services that the University did not feel it fair to admit Japanese American male students.
