Description
William C. Stevenson from the National Japanese American Student Relocation Council writes to Everett B. Sackett, University of New Hampshire Registrar. Stevenson is happy to hear that the one Japanese American woman enrolled is doing well. \n\nStevenson also urges Sackett to reconsider the university stance on Japanese American men attending the university. He points out that the percentage Japanese American men volunteering for the Army is far greater than Caucasian men. He also points out that the loyalty of the Japanese American students can be assured otherwise they would not be released from camp.
