Differentiating Racial Differences in Time-Course Oxidative Stress Responses to Acute Exercise
Abstract
African Americans (B) are disproportionately hypertensive with reports of greater cardiovascular disease (CVD) incidence. Oxidative stress is associated with the development of CVD, and B have greater levels of oxidative stress than other ethnic groups, in particular Caucasians (W).
