Writing a Philosophy of Education for a New Curriculum: Turning a Dull Task into a Party.
Abstract
Many educators find education philosophy to be dull, unnecessarily complicated, and time consuming. The task can be made more engaging and effective when teachers and school leaders come together over food and fun to collaboratively build their vision of good education. Constructing a philosophy of education, like making party invitations, is best done by having a conversation that answers why, what, who, where, when, and how.
