COVID-19 Safety Training for Outdoor Volunteers
Description
A safety training module developed by the University of New Hampshire Cooperative Extension in response to outdoor volunteers and conservation organizations wishing to continue volunteer programs in the context of COVID-19. Training was developed based on CDC guidelines and University of NH training provided to staff and adapted to include instructions for field work and other outdoor volunteer tasks. The training is free and offers a certificate of completion to those successfully answering comprehension questions about the training's content. During its first 9 months of publication the training was completed by over 3,000 volunteers from over 300 organizations.
