Abstract
Computer programs for finding the phase and amplitude difference at secondary tide stations, for extracting tidal constituents, and for applying tide corrections in hydrographic/bathymetric surveys require continuous and clean tidal data. These tide tools use common statistical, signal processing, and information processing methods to produce a clean data record that can be entered directly into Caris or used for tidal analysis.
