Presenter Bio

Micah Tinkler served for 16 years and 5 months at the Naval Oceanographic Office at Stennis Space Center, MS. Starting in late 2004, he joined the LIDAR group at the JALBTCX facility at Stennis Airport. JALBTCX is a joint Army Corp of Engineers, NAVO & NOAA facility working to leverage each branches respective expertise to provide superior lidar data and products.

At the JALBTCX facility, Mr. Tinkler was the sole IT support for approximately 20 scientists and contractors engaged in world wide data collection missions. He participated in eleven multi-month deployments to various locales, including Kenya, the Philippines, the Philippines again, and also the Philippines, and again to the Philippines, Okinawa, Honduras, Bahrain, Nicaragua and exotic Florida. Florida was his favorite.

Mr. Tinkler has extensive experience working with the SHOALS, CHARTS & CZMIL lidar systems, on top of 7 years of working various sonar and side scan systems for NAVO.

Now he sells real estate and flips homes in S. Mississippi under the moniker Realtor On A Bike.
