ONR Seafloor Characterization Workshop
Abstract
This three-day (18 – 20 February 2025), ONR-sponsored workshop, held at the University of New Hampshire’s Center for Coastal and Ocean Mapping, focused on evaluating various approaches for the extraction of Navy-relevant seafloor property data from modern multibeam and other similar pulse- echo acoustic systems. This report presents an overview of the presentations made at this workshop and summarizes its recommendations
