Bipartisan Majorities in Connecticut Say Iran Conflict Going Poorly, Approval of Trump Hits New Low 9/23/2026

Abstract

Nearly all Democrats and more than half of Independents and Republicans in Connecticut think the conflict with Iran is going poorly and three in five think the U.S. cannot win. Approval of President Trump's job performance has fallen to a new low in Connecticut. Connecticut residents are more likely than other New Englanders to believe the government is hiding information about the September 11th attacks but are more concerned about domestic terror attacks than foreign ones. A majority of Connecticut residents believe voter fraud is not a serious issue in the country and are even less concerned about it in Connecticut.
