Notable government documents 2005: opportunity, vision, change
Abstract
Despite disaster responses of a seldom seen magnitude, a checkered record of voter approval and rejection of library funding initiatives, and the reauthorization of the USA PATRIOT Act, libraries continue to make information, including government documents, available to users through new and traditional services. In 2005, government at every level continued to tackle issues impacting their ability to deliver information. Libraries followed suit through their efforts to make information in all formats available for users both now and in the future.
