Researching New Hampshire 's Version of Uniform and Model Laws

Abstract

Many of New Hampshire's laws are based on uniform or model laws. This article briefly discusses ways to research this topic for New Hampshire, provides some historical background, and discusses research specifically for our most noteworthy events in this area, the adoption of the New Hampshire's version of the Uniform Commercial Code and the revision of our criminal code which was based in large part on the Model Penal Code.
