Abstract
Majorities of Rhode Island Republicans, Independents, and Democrats predict bad times for businesses in the state in the next year. Most state residents also predict bad times for the national economy. Rhode Islanders are similarly downbeat about their personal finances, as half expect to be worse off financially in a year.
