Abstract

Six in ten Rhode Islanders disapprove of President Donald Trump's handling of the war in Ukraine and most believe it was started by Russia. On the economy, only one-third of state residents approve of Trump's use of tariffs and four in ten approve of Trump's overall handling of the economy. A majority of Rhode Islanders support banning transgender female athletes from participating in women's sports.
