Abstract

Half of Granite Staters approve of the job that outgoing governor Maggie Hassan is doing. Drug abuse continues to be seen as the state’s most important problem and about half of Granite Staters say they know someone who has abused heroin. The majority of New Hampshire residents continue to support legalizing marijuana for recreational use, and a larger majority favor universal background checks on gun purchases. A plurality of New Hampshire residents support a bill to establish a 30 day residency requirement in order to vote in a state election.
