Biden Job Approval Remains Low in NH; Most Think He Acted Inappropriately Handling Classified Documents 1/24/2023

Abstract

President Joe Biden's performance ratings in New Hampshire remain low, lower than former President Trump’s at this point in his presidency. Seven in ten Granite Staters think Biden handled classified documents from his time as Vice President inappropriately, but a plurality think that Trump's handling of classified documents was worse. Many New Hampshire residents watched at least some of Kevin McCarthy's election as Speaker of the U.S. House, but few Granite Staters are pleased by McCarthy's election or view him favorably.
