This deconstruction is a tool for researchers to use when preparing applications to submit to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Funding Opportunity Announcement PAR-18-714, Academic Research Enhancement Award for Undergraduate-Focused Institutions (R15 - Clinical Trial Not Allowed).
It presents the information from the FOA and the general NIH guidance documents in a tabular, bulleted format that is easy to use and incorporates the recently- updated NIH guidance (effective for due dates on or after 1/25/19.
This deconstruction contains instructions specific to PAR-18-714 and should not be used for other FOAs utilizing the R15 mechanism.
