Photograph of a historical building in Samarkand, taken by Lotte Jacobi in Uzbekistan, Central Asia, ca. 1932-1933. Detail, low-angle shot of an archway and the ruins of a dome. The intricate tilework on the archway has fallen off in places, a large portion of the dome is missing, and deep cracks are visible on the archway and the building's exterior wall.
