Description
1930s. Dress shoes. Black faille with a moderately long vamp (toe) coming to a moderate rounded point, sewn at the sides to the quarters (backs) which have a center back seam. An openwork strap is closed by an oval silver buckle with small inset rhinestones. All edges are bound with twill tape. The continuous leather sole incorporates a fabric-covered straight-sided French/Louis/spike heel. Professionally made. Machine-sewn.
